My objective is to teach people what to do to lose weight, and when they follow my method they succeed. I am not disavowing that there are factors other than what I discussed that affect metabolism, but the effect on the metabolism, the calories burned, is not significant enough to focus on them when focusing on reducing caloric intake is what’s needed and what causes weight loss. Besides, it’s still a matter of physics, creating an energy deficit, burning more calories than consumed, that causes weight loss, no matter what the metabolic rate is and what affects it.
